Hi,
I have 2 cd’s called “Nina Simone live at Ronnie Scott’s”. One is on Hendring Wadham; this concert is also on DVD. The other one is on Meteor records: has the same name but is another concert…..
There is also a cd called “The Rising Sun collection” on Just a Memory Records (Canada), Nina Simone live at “The Rising Sun Celebrity Jazz Club” (concert 1980; cd released in 1994).
Question: are this regular albums or bootlegs?

The Hendring Wadham recording is the only "legitimate" recording out of these three performances. I don't know if Nina was aware of the 2nd Ronnie Scott's recording, but from what I've been told she was unaware of the "Rising Sun" recording, which took place at Salle Wilfrid-Pellet in Montreal.
